Nostalgia

Last night, Juri and I spent quite some time on Youtube looking for songs that we used to listen in our youth (not that we're old now). It was so much fun for us to see the old school type of video clips. I think we got really amazed at what Youtube has to offer, especially when we were able to find Russian hip hop music that Juri loved back then and a song that was part of the Russian version of the "Three Musketeers". When we were dating, he used to see that song to me, and even though I had no clue of what it meant, I loved it, especially the way Juri was singing it. I asked Juri if he could find it on Youtube, but he said that it was so old that video clip didn't exist at that time yet. Well, Lo and Behold, I insisted to just give it a try and we found it. Here it is for your enjoyment (it's pretty funny), you don't have to like it, I honestly just like it when Juri sings it.

Here are others that I love:

I actually just love the opera style part, what a great voice, and it's in russian.

I know, very cheesy video clip but always loved that song, especially in the movie "Jack and Sarah".

If you know me well enough, you would know that this one is my favorite song and has a special place in our family. Friends of ours performed that song at our wedding reception, and Juri engraved it (Eternal Flame) in our wedding bands. This is what Juri and I also work on every day to keep our flame eternal. I know it's a cheesy clip!

For a lot of the songs, I was pretty young at the time they were on the radio (in Tahiti), but got to know them through my brother who is 11 years older than me. So when he was a teenager, I was still pretty young.
