Looking back at Taiamani's 1st year

A lot has happened since the last I blogged but I'll talk about it another time. Today, we're celebrating Taiamani's Birthday and I've been looking at some old pictures of her. The 5 years since we welcomed her went by so fast. I'm always amazed at all the things she's accomplished and her sweet little personality. I love hearing her switch between languages.

I had Taiamani's name since I was 7. I knew a girl named that way and she was the only one wearing it. I asked my mom what it meant and she said "Diamond". I feel in love with the name because of its meaning and rarity, so I promised myself that I'll give it to my girl. I think it suits her well because we've been trying for so long to have her. From the time we found that we were expecting, she became as precious as diamond.
