Juri and I spent last night decorating the tree and I have to say, it's looking pretty good now.
When the kids saw it this morning, Taiamani screamed of excitement saying "woaw, pretty!!"
They went straight for the ornaments and Ilyah already took down a few. Taiamani kept saying "that's for Taimani" when pointing at the ornaments.
Another thing happened this morning as we were getting ready for school. Taiamani somehow got hold of a big piece of band aid and stuck it on her forehead. I didn't think much of it at the time. Then right before we got out of the door, I remembered about the band aid and told Taiamani we had to take it off . She was ok with it. I started by the piece on the eyebrows but it was sticking pretty well so she started crying. I realized I was about to wax her inner eyebrows. Then I went to the forehead piece but it was sticking on her hair. This business was calling for big measures. Taiamani was in pain so I took the scissors and cut the hair. From then on, everything went fine, everybody is alive but it was quite an adventure.
