L'Opera

To celebrate my Birthday, Juri took me to one of my favorite restaurants: L'opera.
This was only made possible thanks to my Visiting Teacher and Young Woman President Lisa White, who kindly volunteered to watch our kids.

I LOVE the food there, however, I don't always feel comfortable because it's a bit too fancy. Juri kept telling me relax and not worry too much.

They always a sample before your choice of appetizer. It's always delicious!

Here's my favorite appetizer that I always order: Eggplant gratin alla parmiggiana

Some yummy veal medallion

Juri surprised me with this explosive molten cake with almond ice cream
It was to die for!

The lovebirds

I was glad that my pregnant belly was hiding the fact that I was super full. I could tell the baby was very happy because he kept kicking and bouncing in the belly the whole evening.
I'm so grateful to be married to this amazing guy. He tried really hard to make it a special day for me and treated me like a princess. He felt really bad that he didn't have a tangible gift to give me, but this was way better: to be with my "Eternal Flame" and eat some good food.
