I was so happy that my dad was able to take "some" (like 5 weeks) time off while we were there so he could take care/spend time with the kids. He and my mom were such a big help; it was nice to have grandparents close by to take over with the kids while I get plenty of rest. It was also nice for the kids to interact with their grandparents, practice their french, and just be spoiled. THey sure do miss them since we've come back to Belgium; and vice versa. My parents had to go through a withdrawal phase after we left. It was very quiet and lonely at home for them again; good thing that my niece is with them every other week.

At the Venus Point, a black sand beach (Juri's favorite). Half of Tahiti is black sand and the other half is white sand. Pretty fun. I personally like the white sand beaches, black sand beaches can get very hot as they preserve the heat.
