Juri and I were looking for a good movie to watch and saw the poster of this movie online. We both like the actor Denzel Washington and most of the movies he played in such as "Remember the Titans" (which is actually Juri's all time favorite movie). So we started watching it and couldn't stop.
We both love movies based on such themes as racism, especially back in those days where slavery was abolished but yet, Blacks were still treated badly. We just feel bad for what they went through.
This movie along with "The pursuit of happyness" with Will Smith were the best movies we watched in 2007-08 so far.
I would highly recommend them.

They're really motivational especially knowing that they're based on true stories.

Haven't seen the first one, but we loved Pursuit of Happiness. We just watched "August Rush" on friday and I totally recommend it, such an inspiting story (not based on a true story though), but a really kind good movie!
