Ever since we moved to this house, which was in mid July, we didn't have a TV. We said that we will get one along with the cable as soon as Juri finds a job, but we just kept putting it off. It was a bit hard for me at the beginning because I always had a TV to entertain me. Juri, on the other hand, was glad that we didn't have a TV so that the kids wouldn't be stuck in front of it (I guess like me). However, he did miss not being able to watch his soccer games championships.
For this new year, we bought the TV from the Eggertz family as they were leaving to go back to the US and yesterday, the main tv company finally came to install the cable at our place. Yeah!!! we can finally watch movies on a bigger screen than our Mac.
Between the time we got the TV and the installation of the cable (1 week and a half), Taiamani would watch "The Testaments" or "Taiamani 1st year" movie after school while I cook because those were the only DVDs we had. She would ask for the "big Jesus movie" ('big' because she calls the Jesus in our nativity set "baby Jesus") or "baby Mani's movie". She particularly like this last one and would watch it 3 times in a row (it's a 30min movie that I made of her from the time I was pregnant with her until she turned 1).
