Potty training

It's been quite sunny consistently these past few days, thus I decided to potty train Ilyah so that he'll be able to start school in January 2009 (I'm so excited!!!). He's 26 months old now, I think it's high time he uses the toilet.

I started the potty training yesterday morning (Thursday 31st July) and the results are... 75% in the toilet and 25% on the floor (including #2, he didn't make it to the toilet because Taiamani was using it). The 2 times he did on the floor was in the morning when I just took off his diaper and after nap, when I also just took off his diaper.
He's actually pretty good at it; he recognized every time he wanted to pee, would tell me and we would run to the toilet. We're still working on #2. It's a bit tricky so I promised a chocolate for both Taiamani (need to be fair and so that she'll encourage Ilyah too) and Ilyah if he does in the toilet.
We're on Day 2, and so far 100% success. I'm hoping it'll stay that way this whole day.
It's very tiring as I have ALL my attention on him and I can't do much around the house. When I would hang the laundry outside, we would constantly have to run back inside for, a lot of times, nothing.

I'll update on that as I go.

By the way, a friend of my neighbor saw the pictures that I took of her family and contacted me last night. She asked me if I could take her family portraits also. We'll meet on August 13th. I'm nervous and excited at the same time, mixed feelings.
