Since we've been here, the kids have been waking up crazy early, like around 5:30am, probably because my Dad is already up and having breakfast. So they join him and have their breakfast (hot chocolate with fresh baguette and margarine) too. For myself, I just stay in my bed until Pépé has to go to work at 6:45am. The kids run outside to watch their Pépé leave. That's our early morning routine.
It was quite inventive from my Dad to get the kids "fish" in buckets. They had a blast, especially Ilyah, he wanted to fish just like his Pépé.
My apologies for my Dad being topless, that's the island style.

I love bright colors; I missed that in Belgium

It's hard to tell but the kids' skin quickly got some color. Ilyah is our little snowflake thus far but he doesn't burn or get red unlike his Papa. That's the Polynesian blood in him. Unfortunately, he gets bitten pretty bad by mosquitos, poor guy (pictures will follow in another post).
That's the routine in Pépé's car. They always ask for "their" glasses when they get in the car because there's soooo much sun here in Tahiti. We can't leave the house without them.

One evening we went to see the boats at the harbor "Marina Taina". They enjoyed seeing all the Yachts and smaller boats and kept asking to go in one. They were very intrigued by the ocean, didn't quite like the smell though.

The Sun is setting behind Tahiti's sister island Moorea. Beautiful!!! I've been wanting to take a romantic walk with Juri there (did you read me Zaika?) :)
