Doctor's appointment

Well, I went to my appointment at the Doc's office this morning. I went in very hopeful that I might be dilated already or even effaced, but just like my other 2 pregnancies, I'm at 0/0 (not effaced nor dilated, and I'm due in 10 days). We then scheduled a "post-term" appointment on the due date ( sunday 18th of October) to see if there is any change in my cervix and if there is enough fluid for the baby, unless I go into labor before then.

If I'm a bit dilated or there isn't enough fluid, I will most likely get induced that day.
I have mix feelings about inductions. It's nice to know that I might have the baby that day, but I don't like the idea of being hooked up on IV and labor at the hospital. I like the freedom while doing most of the labor at home better, just like my other 2.

Moreover, I'm still not comfortable with the idea of giving birth here, in this foreign country. My experience with Kapiolani's Women hospital has been so great and I loved my doctor, that it's hard to want to give birth any other place. I'm just uncomfortable being out of my comfort zone.
We'll see how everything goes.
