Getting closer

(Juri took this pic at the office)

Tuesday afternoon and throughout the night, I've been having quite a lot of braxton hicks.
I felt like the intensity of the BH was getting stronger throughout the night, to the point that I didn't even know whether they were BH or real contractions. The fact that they wouldn't stay regular for an hour, let me believe that they were BH. Anyway, I barely slept last night because of that.

It's 11am wednesday morning, and I'm still having them. I'm not sure if it's for today, but I do know that labor is near (well, hopefully!). Juri and I dropped off the kids to school this morning and now I'm at his work, just in case I go in labor. The BH have spaced out but they're still coming more often than usually.

You would think that by #3 I would be a pro recognizing the real contractions from the practice ones. It's been so long ago though. All I remember is the horrible cramping sensation from the back to the front, to down under too. So far, only my belly has been cramping.

I still haven't packed for the hospital... and haven't bought everything I needed to get for me and the baby. I better get going...

I hope all goes well. I too am a little worried about not recognizing labor and not having my doctor from Hawaii. I also just found out my doctor of about 3 years left the practice and I am to find a new one. We wish you well.
