It's the time of the year when we spend our Saturdays visiting Christmas markets. This past saturday, we went to Aachen. It's such a convenient market for us; it's fairly close to us (1hr and a half drive) but we're in a different country. We've been there for the past two years and keep coming back because we like the food and the pastries we can get there. It's all about food for our family.
The day didn't start well with the rain pouring on us. The ride there was very uncomfortable because of the limited visibility. We also forgot to take our umbrellas with us. I doubted we're gonna have fun there with this rain.
I fed Kyrill before we left, and he slept the whole ride there then fed him again in the underground parking and slept again through the visit. He was very good.
Surprisingly, when we got out of the parking facility, the sun was peaking through the clouds and the rain stopped. Despite the freezing cold and the wind, it was an enjoyable visit after all.
Before we left Aachen, we got a nativity set and an angel for the house. I'll post some pics soon.
