On friday, our last full day in Paris, we decided to visit the Eiffel Tower as well as other touristic sites. What was supposed to be a 20 min drive to the Tower turned into a 2hr trip as we got badly stuck in the crasy parisian traffic. It was very stressful for the driver, Juri, with our long big car. We had lunch then we headed for the tower. The lines to go up were humongous!!!!! We skipped that hassle and just decided to take some pics with the Tower in the background. I tried to do my best but we were way too close to it.

We decided to cancel the other sight seeings and went back to the hotel after we got throught the traffic once again (for maybe an hour only this time). We got some rest then got ready for the dinner with my cousin and her boyfriend.
It was a great dinner, great conversation, MERCI.
Then on Saturday, after breakfast , we headed back to Brussels. the whole we were in Paris, it was sooooo hot and sunny, but when we got back in Belgium, it was the "good" old rain again. Man I can't stand that weather.
The trip back was rather difficult as Ilyah was not a happy camper and cried for close to an hour in the car until we stopped to take a break. It was still a nice vacation afterall, crazy, insane but nice.

Personally, I like the pictures. I don't think you are too close. I love the angle. Most times the tower is way off in the background so you get the whole tower in the shot, but you are close up and it's cool b/c you know it's the tower anyway! Love them!
Oh, and did you notice it's raining today? I bet you thought it was sunny! HA!
