This morning, I just had my first spinning class and I almost died.
Thanks to my friend Lisa, I didn't have a sore bum because she let me her spinning shorts with heavenly sent padding.
I love the atmosphere with the very loud music and knowing that I'm burning some calories, but man, I thought I was going to die, especially while doing the standing up parts.
I also noticed that my knee joints hurt a bit; we'll see how that goes.
I'm hoping that after 3 or 4 classes I"ll feel a bit more comfortable.
I have a Maori friend who is 50 years old and have been doing it for a little while and she's just great. I'm like 1/2 her age and I was struggling. She actually did a spinning marathon this past Sunday for 2 and a 1/2 hrs.
Anybody who knows me, knows that I'm drinking a ton of water a day. Well, the only downside of it is that I sweat buckets of water while spinning and it was soooo disturbing.
Anyway, I loved the torture and will be doing it again.
