Works of Heart

While Juri and I were out to do some grocery shopping friday evening, Grandma Germany gave some pens and paper to the little ones to keep them busy.
I was pleasantly surprised by Taiamani's drawing skills. Grandma assured us that her only contribution was the little house (see pictures below) and the rest was all Taiamani's.
Every time I make the kids draw, I've never seen her drawing people, just random things and mix of colors. This time she drew our own little family. We loved it so much that we hung them in their bedroom.

That's what Belgium did to us: crazy hairstyle, big eyes, big ears... We look like we've been electrified. 


Don't be mistaken by her drawings, we don't get that much sunshine over here. Actually, the weather forecast said that this week will be rainy and the temps will go down to zero degrees celsius (or 30 F) at night. We're only in September/October.
