Taiamani started going to school on the 5th of November. It's now been 2 weeks and she's loving it. I was very surprised that she didn't cry at all for the first day of school; though she did look sad. Actually, guess who was crying every morning after dropping off Taiamani??..... Ilyah!!!! He already wants to go to school with his sister. One morning, he cried all the way home, which was a 15 min walk. He's doing better now because I don't go inside the classroom anymore, I just stay in the hallway.
Here in Europe, kids go to pre-school at 2 and a half years. Taiamani turned 2 and a half in September but after the school started; so she had to wait until November.
Now that she's going to a french school, I talk to her in English while we're at home because her french is much more dominant. Juri still talks to her in russian and english. She also gets more english when we go to Church because we go to Brussels International Ward and most of the members are american. It's so much fun to see her understand all 3 languages and to listen to her mixing all 3 when she speaks.
Ilyah is turning 1 and a half at the end of this month so he should be going to Nursery soon. He's excited, I think. I know I am !!!
I'm so looking forward to finally listen to the lessons. Moreover, I'm a RS teacher and I won't have to worry about looking for somebody to watch him (actually Juri watches him but he also has a calling ( now that I think about it, he always has a calling wherever we go, even in Tahiti they wanted to give him one... he didn't even spoke the language!!!) Anyway, it will be nice to be babyless for RS and sunday school. Yay!!!
