It's the end of November, which means that Christmas is near. I actually put a Xmas countdown widget so that you'll be aware of how many more days before Christmas. I wanted to share with you my Christmas "wishlist". I've put that word in quotation marks and bold to insist on the fact that it's purely wishful... you'll understand why.
Here's the Number 1 item for today.
It's the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Telephoto lens.
A few months after Taiamani was born, we upgraded from a camcorder (taking not so great pictures) to a Canon Rebel digital camera with a standard lens, which does a good work. But now that I have become a photography fanatic, I feel the urge to upgrade. I personally love taking portraits, especially since I have kids. I really want to do some close-ups but our lens doesn't allow me to do so. I did some research in order to understand better the functionality of the different lenses online, and this is the ONE that I would love to own. This lens does the work of so many other lenses.
Now , the problem with that lens is the price..... $1000.... and that's on ebay, so you can imagine the price in regular stores.
If money would grow an apple trees (we have one in the backyard), then I would surely get that one. But don't get me wrong, there are really good ones out there, a bit cheaper. However, this lens is the ultimate for me.
